Vera Claire is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer based in Oaxaca, México. Her self-taught practice explores the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, shaped by over a decade of work with artisan communities in the state of Oaxaca.

With a background in linguistics and ethnography, Vera brings a research-driven, immersive approach to her creative process, utilizing material practices to explore and communicate cultural narratives.

She is the founder of Cosa Buena and the Cosa Buena Foundation, initiatives that foster cross-cultural dialogue, support traditional arts, and promote community resilience. Since beginning to exhibit her work in 2020, Vera has been featured in prominent museums and cultural institutions, with her practice recognized for its social impact and exemplary creative collaborations.
